Other higher education pathways, currently being implemented by UNHCR India for refugees to pursue postgraduate study in third countries include the University Corridors to Italy (UNICORE),University Corridors to France (UNI’VR) and the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS).

UNHCR India has also recently launched the Digital Higher Education (DHE) Initiative in India to provide online higher education and skills training opportunities to refugees and asylum-seekers in India. Information may be sought from our implementing partner, BOSCO.

A limited number of free DET and IELTS vouchers are available for refugees and asylum seekers in India. Candidates who have a specific, identified need for an DET or an IELTS test may approach UNHCR India.
